Literature Text

Death, you come as if I'm yours to take,
The empty, breathless carcas lying near the stream.
The carefree waves wash my hardened soul away
Taking my senses where the rivers meet the sea.

Fate is carved in stone, nothing left to change,
The last song was stolen by a lonely nightingale
I'm bleeding words and wisdoms in the ground,
Pass me away to the world I cannot find!

All that is lost remains lost forever.
The memory of you deep inside my mind
Keeps me guessing the final moment
Where eyes are blind and hands unable to write.

The veil is falling, it hid away the light,
Life is renewing from the chest that now is still.
If I could miss, if I could hurt...
If only I ran before my bones were dust...

I kept time still as long as I could
To stop the vision of you fading from my heart,
But I am dying and the only words I have left to say:
Death, you come as if I'm yours to take away.
Lyrics for a song I'm working on with my band, Symphress.
